LINDY'S MARINA
Lindy's Landing is a private marina located on Bangs Lake in Wauconda with 100 boat slips for summer rental and seasonal row boat rentals (we no longer offer daily launching). Lindy's upgraded it's marina in 2007 by installing a brand new EZ Dock floating dock system that can easily accomodate pontoons, power boats/ski boats, sailboats and waverunners with dock extentions for longer watercrafts.
SLIP RENTAL
Lindy's Landing Marina has over 100 boat slips available for summer rental (May 1st - October 15, 2012). The slip rental fee for the 2012 season is $1075.00. The rental fee includes your slip space, secure locked and gated entry, rubber edging, cleats, and access to electricity. Optional items for your slip are available and can be purchased and installed separately. BANGS LAKE
Lindy's is located on Bangs Lake in Wauconda, IL. Bangs Lake is a glacial lake that was created over 10,000 years ago by receding glaciers. The majority of property around the lake is privately owned. The lake bottom consists of sand, rock, and muck. The lake is home to such species as bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass, northern pike and yellow perch. The lake is used for a variety of recreational activities during the summer such as swimming, fishing, and boating. The winter months bring ice skating, hockey and ice fishing to the lake.
